PowerBanana is high energy and fun filled exercise for kids. We aim to increase the overall health and fitness level of children aged 5 – 12 in a fun, safe, positive and motivating environment by using obstacle courses, themed fitness games and challenges, partner activities, body weight exercises, resistance bands, circuits and more. We want an environment where children associate fitness with fun in the belief it will cross over to healthy adult living habits for life. Although its Fun, is does not mean we don’t work hard. Fun in fitness comes from challenging oneself and improving with every challenge. We will work together as a team to help the children gain our Power Bands as they improve. The kids form great friendships as they overcome the physical challenges which is what makes it fun! We emphasize full body work outs that get the heart pumping – stimulating metabolism. Proper form and technique for safety is essential, and every child is encouraged to work at their own fitness level while being motivated to push themselves to new fitness levels. Children will gradually develop greater strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance and teamwork skills. Healthy eating is part of our mission statement , we endeavour to educate the kids by including this in our Power band testing.
