Pedal Performing Arts is a non franchised group run by experienced local teachers. Our aim is to provide a friendly atmosphere in which 4 to 18 year olds can gain confidence in acting, singing and dancing. We spend half the year teaching general workshops and the other half of the year is geared towards a full scale musical. We also run workshops working towards LAMDA exams which are endorsed by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.  Class locations include Chalfont St Peter and Hazlemere.

Fantastic local friendly group

All 3 of my kids have enjoyed every minute of their time at Pedal Performing Arts from 10 -18. Great musical shows and a super environment for students to perform and grow in confidence. Everyone is given a chance to shine and great friendships are made. Good organisation and teaching. I would
highly recommend this group.

No pressure just good fun!

My sons have been doing Pedal for a number of years (one of them from 6 - 17 years old) and our experience has only been good. Although there is an associated LAMDA group, there is no pressure on the kids to take exams so they can start just by having fun and getting involved in all aspects of being on stage before choosing to become more serious. The stage performances are always fantastic, particularly in more recent years becoming more and more sophisticated and professional. Kenny and Carole get a big thumbs up from our family.

Brilliant company!

As a student at Pedal performing arts, I have only been here a short time but am in love with the teachers and atmosphere. After attending several drama groups who were unable to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere and to really help me improve my acting skills, I found pedal fitted perfectly! A wonderful company :)

As a parent not a bad word to say about it!

Both my girls attend Pedal Performing Arts and they have had the most fantastic experiences. My eldest daughter has done two amazing shows with them and has grown in confidence and self-esteem. My youngest daughter has only just started but is already loving it!!! Carole and Kenny create a very nurturing community and I have seen exactly what the previous review has described. I am so pleased that my children are involved in a thriving local arts group. If you are considering joining, don't think twice - please support them too!

Not a bad word to say about it

Pedal Performing Arts is a fantastic place to go as a child. I attended the weekly classes at Chalfont Community Centre from the age of 5 up until I will 17, and couldn't attend anymore due to going to University. I can't think of a better thing for a child to go to throughout their childhood, it helps to increase your confidence and also allows you to make friends, that without a doubt will be with you for life. The drama group is like an extended family, with the older ones looking after the younger ones and everybody sticking together to help to put on excellent annual shows. I was in 9 shows with Pedal Performing Arts and loved every single one of them. You spend months and months rehearsing and then rehearse daily for the week coming up to the show, that week being one of the best weeks of the year. The bond between the children that attend is incredible, and even now you get a handful of past students coming back to watch the shows. This year is the first year that I won't be in the show in October, I miss it immensely and will most definitely be going back to support the family that is the Pedal Peforming Arts community.
