A week longer than ever before, Waddesdon’s spectacular fair at the front of the house is a fantastic Christmas shopping experience not to be missed! The fair will be set against the backdrop of the floodlit North Front of the Manor with its 20ft Christmas trees and magical light and sound show. Soak up the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas with 80 hand-selected exhibitors all housed in charming wooden chalets.   • Christmas Shopping at Stowe

If the thought of battling the busy high street leaves you cold and clicking on a keyboard to buy treasured gifts for your loved ones seems a little clinical, come and enjoy your Christmas shopping at Stowe.   • Great Missenden Village Christmas Festival! 3pm until 8pm

Come along to Great Missenden’s annual village Christmas Festival and enjoy lots of fantastic festive fun! This year is going to be bigger and better than ever with amazing artisan food and drink stalls, a wonderful craft market and lots of activities for children (more details to follow)…! The wonderful shops, restaurants and pubs will be open and ready to welcome you! The choir from Great Missenden School will be carol singing at 5pm at the Fire Station and you may even spot santa on his sleigh! There will be free parking provided at Great Missenden Railway Station and at Missenden Abbey (the High Street will be closed to traffic). Find out more here

On the weekend of 24th and 25th November (10am – 5pm), the Peterley Christmas Market returns to our glasshouses on the farm. Enjoy the atmospheric surrounds whilst picking up some beautiful, locally-made gifts in time for Christmas. During your visit you can also pick a homegrown Christmas tree fresh from the farm, pop into the farm shop and grab a warm drink and some food from the cafe!  Complete with carol singers and mulled wine (mulled apple juice will also be available), this is the perfect event to get you in the mood for the festive season ahead! Broadway Baptist Church is opening its doors again this year for the towns _CHRISTMAS IN CHESHAM_ on 30th November 2018. Inside you will discover our indoor Christmas Market, featuring a variety of local businesses, crafts and our café serving tea, coffee and hot chocolate with mince pies.

Buckinghamshire’s largest FREE Christmas Craft & Gift Fair (boasting over 75 stalls) will be lining the cobbles of the town’s beautiful and historic Market Square. Between 11am and 3pm, it’ll be offering a huge assortment of items produced by local businesses, including: Christmas decorations, jewellery, soft furnishings, children’s gifts, soaps, cosmetics, candles, Italian delicacies, cheeses, herbs, children’s handcrafted clothing, classic car memorabilia, collectable toy cars, accessories, homeware, craft beer and gin and much more!   • Old Amersham Christmas Evening from 6pm

Start the festive season with this wonderful family event in Amersham Old Town which includes carols, Santa’s Reindeer, ice skating, late night opening in the local shops and the switching on of the Christmas lights. Scannappeal’s popular Golden Tombola will take place in the Market Hall where you can also warm up with mulled wine and mince pies, all profits will go to the charity’s work at Amersham Hospital. Our thanks to Old Amersham Business Association for hosting this event in aid of Scannappeal. Sunday 9 December

  • Missenden Abbey Christmas Fair from 11am until 4pm

 Visit Missenden Abbey in all its Christmas glory and pick yourselves up a few last minute hand crafted beautiful gifts. Throughout the day there will be entertainment, live reindeer, festive treats and even Santa will be making an appearance – this is an event not to be missed.
