Fab food but noisy

We went to the GX branch of Fego yesterday for lunch. I called that morning to pre book a table but I was told that they dont accept booking for tables under 6 people. Luckily she allowed us to book - if she hadnt we wouldnt have risked going there as we dont live in GX and wouldnt want to travel there to be turned away if they were full. When we arrived the restaurant was packed - every table was full. The food is delicious and is fast and the staff very friendly. The only (slight) negative about this place is the noise.... I think that they need to work on the acoustics.... So if you're looking for great food this is the place for you but if you want a more peaceful eating experience I would say go else where :)

Pancakes were a winner!

We popped in to Fego's last Sunday lunchtime and had a super lunch/brunch. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They had children's activities sheets and pencils which kept the kids busy while we waited for our food. There was plenty of choice on both the adults and kids menu, the pancake stack was a winner with the kids :) The place had quite a buzzy atmosphere, it's a pretty busy place on a Sunday afternoon, although there was no long queue for tables, there was just a steady stream of people arriving and leaving at the right time. We'll definitely be back and would recommend to both families and couples looking for great food and friendly service.

A bustling cafe

A spacious cafe, with a varied menu. I went here with my mum for lunch without the kiddies :)! but it appeared to be child friendly. The food was great, the waiting staff were lovely plus it was really busy which is always a good sign :)
