Charlie needs a one-time life-changing SDR operation. Help is needed to raise £85,000 through Tree of Hope for the surgery and rehabilitation.
Charlie is 3.5 years old and has severe spastic quadriplegic cerebal palsy due to prematurity. He is unable to crawl, sit unsupported, stand or walk independently.
Despite his physical limitations, Charlie is a very sociable boy and loves his chocolate as much as the next person. He has a lovely sense of humour and is very affectionate. He enjoys music and makes the most out of life to the best of his ability.
Charlie needs an SDR (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy) operation to reduce the tightness in his legs and help him walk. NHS funding for SDR stopped in 2014.
Please help make a change in Charlie’s life by either donating or holding fund raising events in aid of Charlie’s Footsteps.
Charlie and his family live in Tyler’s Green near High Wycombe. If you would like more information on donating or you would like to hold a fundraising event for Charlie’s Footsteps, please contact Tim at firstname.lastname@example.org and Jo at email@example.com.
Do you shop online? If so, please help raise funds for Charlie’s Footsteps by shopping through www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/charliesfootsteps at no cost to you. Simply search for the online retailer through www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/charliesfootsteps, place your order and the retailer will donate a percentage of your order value to the fundraising.
Tree of Hope help by acting as the registered charity of the Olivers behalf. This allows them to claim gift aid. They hold a separate account for each family to hold the funds raised until they are needed. Charity No 1149254
