There’s a delicious way to deal with the strain of quarantine – and it’s right in your kitchen. Bread Making! Lock down has definitely meant more baking for us! Luckily The Deli in Chalfont St Giles has supplies of flour and yeast which has meant we have been able to continue experimenting and trying lots of new recipes.

In the last month, we have successfully made three different types of bread, two of which don’t require yeast: Spelt & Oat Soda Bread ( takes around 45 minutes), Honey Beer Bread (takes around an hour) and Daily Bread (takes 1.5 hours from start to finish).

My favourite is probably the Daily Bread as we added loads of delicious seeds including pumpkin, sunflower, linseeds and poppy seeds but you can literally throw anything in.

Here are some pictures of our baking bread frenzy 🙂 Let us know if you have any bread recipes that you love!
